about

This song is the longest one included in Reconciler because Doom and the Medicine Man (pt V-VIII) is a suite of four tracks, and is a piece of the second part of a jam that was rehearsed during the pandemic period: the result here obtained is probably one of the songs most representative of our style.
By adding the acoustic guitar and the superfine interpretation of Conny Ochs, both have helped to give a greater form-song and lyricism to the song.
We don't rule out publishing the full version one day but only Time will know!

lyrics

I’m lurking down in the river bed,
I’m waking from a dream that I had,
wallowing by myself now.
Just got a tick, just got an itch to scratch, ow, ow...

Slowly seek for nothing,
I’m treadin’, sleep in the cold,
Sleeping in the cold...

It’s out of reach
but what do I know.
It’s hell to breathe
and it starts to show.

So seek for nothing,
forever sleep in the cold cold cold...
Sleep in the cold,
sleep in the cold.

And once more the day’s rolling over
on a shark teeth bed.
I reach out again,
skin scratching, skin stretched.
And the surface is alive and all,
I just got a little tick inside my head.
Ooh-ooh, and your eyes are just buzzing,
and your brain is just buzzing.
And you just don’t know where you’re at.

Cold that cold that cold, that...
Sleeping in the cold, cold, cold, cold...
Sleeping in the cold,
Sleeping in the cold,
Sleeping in the cold, cold, cold...

Hey, I wish you could come around.

I wanna know, I wanna see.
I wanna go, I wanna be.
I wanna stand, see through the lies.
I wanna feel, I wanna rise.

I’m lurking, down, close by the swarm.
The crust I know is soft and warm.
A needle sting is nothing less
but shimmering, next to emptiness.
